October Reflections on Forming Habits

October got me noticing and judging my habits; the ease of doing the same thing and the challenge of doing something different.

What’s apparent is that at 30 years of age, its been relatively harder to start and maintain new habits compared to when I was 20 or that fresh and energetic 12 year old. Of course, totally different time, priorities and brain composition back then.

However, no matter how old I get, I choose not too feed onto the idea that it's too late to change.

I choose to focus on the power of neuroplasticity; the brain’s ability to adapt, to make new neural connections and re-wire itself in response to our surroundings in which we have much control over.

I also choose to focus on the mass potential of the mind (often untapped) and its ability to be used in our favour.

So I’ve been playing with the unknown and the unusual in small but significant ways.

Thank you October 🌊🌕✨
