2 minute chocolate oat Porridge (df, vgn & veg)

Serves: 1 I Cooking time: 1.5 mins I dg,vgn,veg

There’s something about the sweetness and flavour of the banana when you microwave it. It goes all caramaly and gooey! Combine this with the texture of cooked oats with the raw rich cacao powder, you’ve got a delicious, creamy chocolate pudding situation going on.

Serving suggestion: I add some coconut flakes on top for a buttery hit of coconut and I also pair this porridge on the side of peppermint tea.

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup oats

  • 1 medium ripe banana

  • ½ cup almond milk (or any other non-dairy milk)

  • 1 Tbsp raw cacao powder

  • 1 tsp chia seeds

  • Pinch of cinnamon (optional)

Method:

  1. In a microwavable serving bowl, thinly slice in the banana.

  2. Add in the oats, chia seeds, almond milk and cinnamon into the serving bowl and gently combine till roughly mixed together.

  3. Place the bowl in a microwave for 1 minutes and 30 seconds.

  4. Mix the oats porridge and serve with some coconut flakes if you desire.
